Exploring Costa Rica pt.1

one page.” – Saint Augustine
I am very
grateful to able to travel with my family. Ever since we started traveling I
have gain the love for it. To travel is to live. Such like the quote when traveling
you discover new things and you get to see the world differently. Traveling
turns ordinary people into storytellers.
This summer I
went to the beautiful country of Costa Rica. From the minute that you land on Costa Rica it is breath
taking. The mountains, the volcanoes, and the colorful houses. It is all so
beautiful. Back home it’s very flat, so seeing the mountains was amazing.
I am going to do
multiple post on Costa Rica, it is going to be by days. Get ready because I
have a bunch of photos to show you guys. Also if you see an outfit you like that
I’m wearing, you can check it out on my look book . To start off, day one in Costa
Rica we landed in San Jose, which is the capital. We got a private driver from
a travel company called Camino. Our driver gave us a tour while taking us to
the hotel. Our hotel was called the Presidente we only stay for one night
though. After dropping off our bags we went walking around in the streets of San
Jose, it is super nice and clean. A lot of people were outside even though it
was raining. We got a bit hungry and stop at the Teatro Nacional (the national
theater). We ate in their little café they had, which by the way was so good! I
got a chicken salad sandwich and yucca chips. Then we got tickets to see inside
the theater. It was spectacular, there was so much history. After the theater
we went back to the hotel to get some rest and also figure out where we were
going to eat. We ended up eating in a place called El Patio. The restaurant was
really nice and the food was delicious. I had an Aztec soup.
Back in the hotel
we just relaxed and fell asleep because it was late and it was raining. We
walked around a lot in San Jose. We got to see many different parts of the
city. For the next day our driver took us to see the volcanoes.

“ 'Pura Vida' This is the country’s most unique and popular phrase and
one of the most important phrases, which is used as a positive response in all
type of situations. You will often hear the people greet or salute friend with
the phrase. Which translates to pure life.”
