Memorial Day Weekend

   As some of you know Memorial Day "is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who fought and are still fighting in the country's armed forces." Many people visit graves to honor those who died. Others go to beaches with friends and family to relax and enjoy the weekend together.
   What I did during the Memorial Day weekend was, I went to a beach called Hollywood beach and spent the weekend there at a friend's house. When we first arrived we ate lunch at this Italian place called Sebastiano's. Everything there is homemade and it was super good! Then after that we went to the beach for awhile. Later at night we ate at a sea food place right by the bay which is called Monty's and it was delicious!
   The second day was a beach day and around the evening I went biking around the boardwalk they have, which was really nice! They have live music playing in the restaurants and bars. Also they are many people riding bikes and walking up and down right by the beach. For dinner we went to another friends house and had a BBQ with the family and friends.
   Lastly on Monday we just relaxed until it was time for us to go back home. It was a really nice place to spend a long weekend. The beach and the area is spectacular, and I'm jealous for these people who have the beach as their backyard!
