Exploring Costa Rica pt.4

Day 5  Road Trip

We left the Kioro hotel, and spent the whole day traveling from north of Costa Rica to south. To the beach we went! I was so excited because I heard the weather was better down there. Our driver picked us up in the morning and it took about 5-6 hours to get to our hotel, Si Como No. We stopped to eat and at a bridge that had crocodiles underneath, which was pretty crazy because there was a lot of them.

Finally, at the hotel we unpacked and went straight to the pool. The hotel was on a mountain so the view we had in our room was so incredible. Then we went out to eat at the restaurant the hotel had called Claro Que Si. They had live music playing. Their guitarist was so good and had everyone up and dancing.

Day 6     To the national park!

We woke up early, got some breakfast, and waited for the shuttle to take us down. Again, since we were on a mountain we needed to take a bus down. The national park was really nice, it is a perfect place for people that love nature. During our walk through the national park we saw many monkeys, sloths, snakes, lizards, and hummingbirds. It was really cool and at the end of the national park there were the beaches.

The beaches are all different, the one we went to was called Manuel Antonio. It was like a dream being on that beach, you had the shade from the trees, the sand was white as snow, so soft  and the clear blue water was to die for. Also monkeys were in the trees ready to take any food you had!  It was so relaxing because after all that walking and sweating the breeze hit you in the perfect place.

After the beach we left, went to the hotel to eat lunch, then stayed by the pool. For dinner we walked down the mountain and there was a restaurant called El Wagon. They have oven cooked pizza and it was delicious. The reason it was called El Wagon was because there was an ACTUAL wagon in the place. You were able to eat inside, but we ate outside. The chairs outside were really cool because they were rocking chairs.(Something you don't see very often.)

Then after a long day we went straight to sleep. The following day it was BACK TO THE BEACH!
